The Canadian Police Memorial

Another Police Memorial for all Canadian Police and Peace Officers can be found on Parliament Hill in Ottawa. The Canadian Police Association (CPA) and the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police (CACP) dedicated this Canadian Police Memorial Pavilion on March 22, 1994.
The granite stone at the base of the pavilion contains the names of officers killed on duty. The Memorial honours all peace and police officers and it is a tribute to those who have given their lives in the performance of their duty. Presently, there are over 100 peace officers on the honour Roll and over 600 police officers.
A special Police Parade is held each fall on Parliament Hill, Ottawa, Ontario
