To search the database, click 'Database' in the left sidebar. Enter any information that you have, and click 'Search.'

You may use these hints:

(1) Enter any part of a last name or the first name in the member's name box or,

(2) Enter the word 'Unidentified' in the member's name box to find bits of research,

(3) Enter the name of the city in the city box.

(4) Enter the name of the cemetery in the cemetery box: the word 'cemetery' is not necessary.

(5) Enter the two letters of the Canadian provinces & Territories abbreviations. See list below:

(6) Enter USA in the country search box for a list of graves in the United States

(7) Enter the word Minnedosa in the rank search box for a list of members who arrived in Canada aboard the Minnedosa in 1920.

(8) Enter the phrase RCMP Band in the Member's Name search box for a list of members who served in the RCMP Band between 1938 and 1994

(9) Click on 'RCMP Provost Corps' to see a list of the WWII No. 1 Provost Company RCMP. 1st Canadian Active Service Force (C.A.S.F.). The list of members which formed the No. 1 Provost Company was taken from The Quarterly. January 1940. V7(3). pps. 275 & 276. Other names will be added whenever they are found in the literature.

(10). For a complete list of NWMP Sub Constables, enter 'Sub Constable' in the Rank search box.

(11) NWMP Sub Constables were assigned unusual Reg.#'s -- prefaced with a lower case letter 'o'. To search for a specific Sub Constable, enter their unusual Reg.# in the Other Regimental # box beginning with a small 'o'. One example would be o458, NWMP Sergeant Robert McCutcheon.

(12). For a complete list of Civilian Members, enter 'Civilian Member' in the Rank search box.

(13). For a complete list of Special Constables, enter 'Special Constable' in the Rank search box.
