True and Fascinating Canadian History

While out for a stroll through Toronto's Eaton Centre, I happened to meet Canada's most famous author, Ms. Margaret Atwood. She was very warm and approachable. I often followed her career through book launches and TV appearances especially with CBC's Peter Mansbridge. I have also enjoyed reading her books.
Ms Atwood is unquestionably Canada's best known novelist. Based on Ms Atwood's writing qualifications and her public appeal, I must confess that I would prefer that she not read any of my essays for fear of too many corrections.
On this special day, Ms Atwood was on her way to London, England. Yet, in spite of her busy schedule, she instructed her daughter to take this photo for me. It was a sincere honour to meet Ms. Atwood and to have a short chat with her.
Ms Atwood and I share some commonalities -- we are proudly Canadian and we are both graduates of the University of Toronto.
Ms. Atwood, thank you for your kindness!
