After my retirement from the Force in 2001, I continued to devote considerable time to various volunteer activities especially Neighbourhood Watch and caring for the elderly at St. Patrick's Home in Ottawa, ON.
In early 2002, I was honoured to receive an invitation from Deputy Prime Minister Mr. John Manley to attend a Golden Jubilee Celebration on Parliament Hill.
In the photo above, (L) is Mr. John Manley as he pesented Her Majesty's Golden Jubilee Medal.
